25th Anniversary of the CEEPUS Program| 2018.12.03.

CEEPUS AMADEUS Network International Coordinators’ Meeting at Corvinus on 26-27th November 2018.

The CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Program for University Studies) Program was founded on the initiative of Austria and came into force in the 1994-95 academic year. So did the CEEPUS AMADEUS Network, in which Corvinus University is a founding member.

Besides WU Vienna, the founding members were the University of Economics in Bratislava, the Corvinus University of Budapest, as well as the University of Maribor.

The AMADEUS Network was one of the first networks initiated by CEEPUS, making it a pioneer in the development of academic partnerships in the field of economics, business and social sciences in the Central- and Eastern-European region. Today, the network includes 16 universities in 12 countries.

The articles of foundation were signed in Budapest exactly 25 years before: on 8th December 1993. Regarding this very special occasion, some CEEPUS cakes have also been made for the event.
